Time is running out to enter the charity raffle to win a Bobcat E10z one-tonne mini excavator, organised by the Derbyshire dealer Butler Reynolds Ltd. Proceeds of the raffle will go to the charity When You Wish Upon a Star, which has over 130 wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Butler Reynolds is hoping that a final push in entries will help to beat its target of £20,000.

First prize includes the E10z mini excavator, three buckets and a three-year warranty

Alexa Wigfield, regional fundraiser at When You Wish Upon a Star, which is based in Nottingham, said: “To receive a donation of this size will help us to continue granting magical wishes. All children have wishes but for these children and their families that wish is so precious. Each wish brings with it the opportunity to look forward to something very special, to forget about their often painful treatments and to simply be a child for the day, creating special treasured memories.”

To support this great cause, tickets for the draw can be purchased from Butler Reynolds, either through its website, www.butlerreynolds.co.uk or by calling 01509 854144 or 01902 883088.

Tickets cost £25 and there is no limit on the number of tickets that can be brought. The latest date for entry is Monday 24th May and the raffle will be drawn on Friday 28th May. As well as the E10z excavator, first prize includes three buckets and a full three-year warranty for the machine. Runner ups will receive either one of five Bobcat jackets or one of ten Bobcat scale models.

Nigel Long, director at Butler Reynolds, said: “The charity was one that my fellow director, Heather Tormey and I have been aware of for some time now – we wanted to do something for children and help as many as we could with our donation. Working with When You Wish Upon a Star, we thought the funds from the raffle could go a long way.”
