Eleanor Gilbert, Berkshire Farm Girl, has set up a JustGiving page to support Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Eleanor was recently featured on Farm Contractor, when she and her stepfather Dan Willis, were awarded Oilseed Grower of the Year at the National Arable and Grassland Awards.
All donators will have the option of a special mention on ‘Ellie’s Welly’ promoted on social media and on Eleanor’s YouTube page, where for as little as £1 companies can advertise their upcoming events, their businesses as a whole, or perhaps kick off a recruitment drive for harvest staff.
Eleanor will also be accepting personal messages, including ‘get well soons’ and even proposals.
“You never know when you, or someone you know, may need this vital service,” she explained. “Farmers, in particular, are working with such large equipment and in remote places and will often require the air ambulance in an emergency.”
