SDF has appointed Haverfordwest based Phillips Bros Engineering as its sole distributor for its DEUTZ-FAHR and SAME brands covering Pembrokeshire in south west Wales.

Tom and James Phillips started their dealership four years ago having worked for Riverlea Tractors and Brodyr Evans Bros after both brothers achieved BSc (Hons) Degrees in Agricultural Engineering from Harper Adams University.

“Having grown up and worked on a family dairy farm, we know farming doesn’t stop after hours or at weekends and that’s why we offer a 24/7 service,“ says Tom. “Our father instilled into us a farmers work ethic and we have now brought this into the engineering sector. Providing a quality service has been the key to growing our business.”

Phillip Bros Engineering has established itself as a strong and professional aftersales businessspecialising in engine and gearbox rebuilds, hydraulic and electrical diagnosis, metal fabrication, and on site repairs. The company also supply a variety of parts, oils and consumables for all makes and models as well as pocess all the tools and diagnostics to ensure any problem on any machine can be resolved.

“The time is now right for our company to move into new tractor and machinery sales and the profile and heritage of both the SAME and DEUTZ-FAHR brands fit well with our own aspirations to grow our business,” says Tom.

“Our business and customer base has grown significantly over the past four years and we are constantly investing in the tools, technology and top quality engineers to keep up to date with the requirements of todays agricultural tractors and farm machinery.”

Phillip Bros Engineering now employs four fully mobile engineers who cover the whole of Pembrokeshire.
