Fendt to debut new 600 Vario tractor at Cereals

Fendt has announced that Cereals will be the first place for UK customers to see the Fendt 600 Vario, which will be exhibited alongside the Gen7 728 Vario, the Ideal combine and the latest Rogator self-propelled sprayer.

“It has been a busy couple of years at Fendt, with many new model launches, and it is great to have these models at Cereals for visitors to see working,” explained Ed Dennett.

The 620 Profi+ is the flagship in the 600 Series, offering 209hp from the four-cylinder AGCO Power CORE50 engine, with DynamicPerformance which adds 15hp regardless of forward speed.

“This tractor is a superb all-rounder that can be used for towing heavy loads, carrying front tanks, or operating heavy-mounted implements. It can reach a top speed of 50 km/h at 1,250 rpm and offers 950 Nm from 1,200 rpm to 1,600 rpm. It is also very manoeuvrable, providing a turning circle of just 10.2 metres,” added Ed.

It can also be optioned with Fendt’s VarioGrip central tyre inflation system, which is available on all machines up to the flagship 1000 Vario. The company is advocating the use of this following the wet conditions this year.

“The FETF grants can be used to specify this technology on new tractors which will help operators reduce soil compaction, improve operational efficiencies and driver comfort,” said Ed.

In the Syngenta Sprays & Sprayers Arena, Fendt will demonstrate the updated Rogator 600, which comes with two ride heights and can be specified with various boom widths and axle configurations.

“This latest model is about driving efficiencies to save operators time and money without compromising on accuracy and output,” Ed explained.
