Trelleborg Tyres has announced that it will bring its Tractor Driver of the Year competition to the UK this October, with a special event at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire.
After five editions of the competition in Italy, the event will see forty skilled drivers compete in four time-based field challenges, designed to replicate real farming operations.
These will focus on:
- manoeuvring
- hoisting
- reversing with a trailer
- stability control
Each participant will drive a Valtra tractor, shod with Trelleborg tyres and will be evaluated not just on speed, but for professionalism under pressure.
