Tractor of the Year 2026 – TotY Specialized– Goldoni Q80

With a width of just 1,400mm, ground clearance of up to 215mm, depending on tyre choice and a possible track width of 1,150mm, the Goldoni Q80 is designed specifically for narrow orchards, vineyards and work on slopes. The four wheels are of near-equal size, and the machine has a weight distribution of 47/53.

The cabin is mechanically suspended, with a pneumatic seat to further dampen undulations. With the cabin, the machine is still just 1,054mm high, meaning it can work in areas with low foliage.

A noise level of 79dB is stated by Goldoni. For intuitive operation, controls are mounted on the right hand side, within easy reach of the seat.

It has a 75hp engine up front, supplied by HDI Hyundai Infracore (Doosan), which is compatible with HVO fuels and requires no AdBlue. Maximum torque reaches 310Nm, available at 2,300rpm. Power is put to the ground through a Goldoni-built mechanical transmission, with 24×12 gears, split into four synchronised gears and three ranges, and a top speed of 40kph, which can be reached at 2,100rpm.

An engine speed memory function is standard, and the company states that it has reduced fuel consumption by 7% when compared to the previous generation.

An open-centre hydraulic system is fitted, producing 50 litres/min, with an additional 38 litres/min pump for steering. Up to six valves can be fitted to the rear, and the rear linkage has a capacity of 2,800kg.

The front axle includes a 100% locking differential, ensuring traction even in difficult conditions, and the machine has a steering angle of 57deg, and a maximum side tilting angle of 54deg when working in extremely hilly conditions.

Finally, the Q80 can be linked to Goldoni’s G Farm digital platform, providing telemetry and machine data to a centralised cloud-based system, designed to help growers make more informed decisions.
