Reesink Agriculture has chosen LAMMA as the launch pad for Farmtrac in the UK, quite simply because the brand’s range of smart compact and mid-duty tractors have proven ideal as dependable, intuitive workhorses for similar farming audiences around the world.
Cutting-edge and cost-effective, the comprehensive and innovative nine-strong smart-looking 22-113hp range offers a practical solution for most small, mid and heavy-duty tasks on the farm.
Steven Haynes, tractor sales manager at Reesink, says: “We were looking to bring to the UK market a tractor range designed to offer performance and value while being simple and intuitive to operate. We were delighted to secure the exclusive distribution rights for Farmtrac’s tractors in the UK including that of the all-new, all-electric FT25G, it’s a hugely exciting development for the market.”
The FT25G electric tractor will be at the show. It’s a hugely popular proposition for equestrian centres, greenhouse growers and livestock farms, with its compact size, zero emissions and low noise levels. Charged from a domestic socket to 100 percent in five hours and able to run for up to six hours, productivity isn’t affected by the decision to go green.
Alongside the FT25G is the most compact tractor in the range and multifaceted for small holdings and small farms. The FT22 is powered by a Mitsubishi engine and offers plenty of choice with turf, agricultural or industrial tyres, mechanical transmission, selectable four-wheel drive and folding ROPS, plus the options of a cab and front loader.
The FT30H has as many similar features as the FT22, but with a more powerful engine, comes with an HST transmission and will be an intriguing choice for those who work in and maintain orchards and large gardens.
The FT6075 is a powerful, 75hp utility tractor for larger farms and estates. It features a fuel-efficient diesel engine and a 12×12 speed transmission and with an impressive 2500kg lift capacity which means it can handle a host of tough tasks.
Completing the show line-up is the 90hp FT690 model. This powerful, all-rounder is ideal for farms that have big jobs to do – ploughing, seeding, fertilising, cultivating, harvesting and transporting, all are done without fuss – in lots of comfort – with the FT690. Comfort is thanks to the modern cab, complete with air conditioning, efficient ventilation, soundproofing and plenty of space for the operator.
