Argo Tractors’ newest addition: The Landini 6H Series

The Landini Series 6H T-Tronic is the newest range from the Argo Tractors family. Composed of two models, the 6-125H and the 6-135H, this series is a utility range suitable for open field, haymaking and general farm duties.

Both 6H Series models are powered by 16-valve, 3.6-litre F36 engines, with the 6-125H producing 119hp and the 6-135H producing up to 127hp. Fuel consumption has been reduced by 10% in both models, as the fuel tank capacity has been increased to 170 litres, while both models can reach 518 Nm at 1300 rpm.

The electronically controlled rear power lift has a load capacity of 6,000kg and the auto PTO system either activates or deactivates the PTO at a specific hitch height. An anti-pitch system helps to reduce the effects of uneven ground during transport.

The 6H’s hydraulic system has been upgraded to a closed circuit (CCLS) of 110 litres/minute, with 38.5 l for steering. The ‘Power Beyond’ system also ensures full use of the 110 l/min flow rate. There are seven spool valves, two mid-mounted and three mechanical, plus a flow selector, for doubled outputs.

A 36+12 scheme with HML (3 speed under load), and Reverse Powershuttle with modulated engagement, allows the transmission to ensure the correct speed for a specific application; the speed can become 48+16 with the creeper. A ‘Park-lock’ brake system, with a gear in the transmission, is also now an option – for greater safety.

Improved operator usability has also been focussed on in this series. The Stage V after-treatment and selective catalytic reduction systems are now stored under the bonnet, for full frontal visibility. Visibility has then been further improved by the expansive four-pillar cab.

A sunroof with opening hatch enables natural ventilation of the cab; the cab also has a mechanical suspension system, with 96 mm cylinders, while a suspended front axle with brakes improves on-road driving comfort. For easier operator control, a joystick has now been added for loader, hitch and half-speed engagement.

The 6-125H and the 6-135H are also ISOBUS and Landini Fleet & Remote Diagnostic Management compatible.
