Stocks Ag has promoted Dave Hampton to the newly created role of manufacturing and operations director. Mr Hampton joined the company in January this year and will have responsibility for manufacturing, production and stores, as well as the Wisbech site and factory.
Mr Hampton has worked in manufacturing for his whole career and has experience in many different types of business. He has experience in procurement, manufacturing and production efficiencies, as well as possessing business and leadership credentials.
“Dave brings with him some key experience and knowledge that we need at Stocks,” said James Woolway, managing director. “I am confident he will lead the manufacturing team to increase capacity and take advantage of the opportunities to take the business forward.”
Commenting, Mr Hampton said: “I am looking forward to leading the team to improve efficiencies at Stocks. In the short time I’ve been here we have committed to an investment in robotic welding and our plans for the next five years are all about optimisation.”
