Fliegl’s ‘Big Foot’ offers consumer choice

Offering even load distribution and low ground pressure, Fliegl Agratechnik is releasing a new liquid manure spreader: the Big Foot.

It has been designed to cope with challenging conditions, such as high-water content areas, allowing successful land cultivation. Large tyres (800/65 R 32) ensure soil pressure is minimised, with roots and nutrients being protected and the optional tyre pressure control system allows for confident user handling.

    Design Options

Users have plenty of choice when it comes to deciding which features best suit their needs. At 6,500 mm in length, the tanker is available as a vacuum or pump tank with a volume of 16,000 or 18,000 litres.

With a pump tank, customers can choose between an eccentric screw or a rotary lobe pump; with the vacuum option, users can choose to have a turbo filler placed under the tank to increase suction power. A choice is also available between classic self-steering, hydraulic or electronic forced steering and a five-metre-long, joystick-controlled suction arm, ensuring flexible use, can also be selected.

Similar to the Alpha Line series, the Y-drawbar is spring-loaded on both sides, ensuring driver comfort and an optimal pulling point. Additionally, the standard hydraulic chassis guarantees a high level of stability, especially on steep side slopes.

Complete operational control is available via ISOBUS FST (Fliegl Slurry Tanker), as well as optional flow rate control, which regulates product flow using either a three-way valve or a hydraulic application accelerator regardless of the driving speed.

To prevent operating errors, the Fliegl Slurry Tanker has farm, street and field operating modes.
