Haith Group, the UK’s leading vegetable handling equipment manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Remach BV to represent the company in Holland and Belgium.

Established in 2019, Remach specialises in supplying sorting, washing and packing machinery and will offer the full Haith portfolio, as well as supplying servicing and maintenance.

The agreement was signed shortly before a Remach open day, which took place in Ens on the 10th of March.

Duane Hill, Haith’s managing director, said that the two companies have a great deal in common. “Remach is an expert in its field and, like us, looks to establish long-term relationships with its customers. Customer satisfaction is a priority for both of us. By working with Remach, we have gained a knowledgeable and well-respected team who will help us continue to grow our business in Holland and Belgium.”

Mr Hill’s comments are echoed by Remach’s owner, Krijn van Groningen: “Haith is recognised around the world for its high quality, highly efficient vegetable handling solutions. We are pleased to become the exclusive importer and dealer of Haith Group machinery for the Netherlands and Belgium.

“This agreement will allow us to serve the larger companies and industrial customers well in terms of processing solutions for various products such as potatoes, onions and carrots as well as serving the needs of smaller farmers and agricultural companies.”

As part of the open day, Richard Haith showcased the latest version of the Haith Root-Veg Polisher.
