Bednar’s new folding Terraland chisel plough model

Bednar’s Terraland TN 4000 HD9 chisel plough is a high-strength Alform steel framed plough with a folding configuration that reduces the transport width to less than 3 metres, allowing the machine to be safely transported. Suitable for 150 to 350HP tractors, the chisel ploughs are available in working widths from 3 to 4m, and have ground depths of 15 to 65cm.

The TN 4000 HD9 is fitted with either 7 or 9 tines which have hydraulic non-stop protection, for heavy or hardened soils, and each tine has a spacing of 45cm.

With the two in one chisel plough and subsoiler, the Terraland chisel ploughs can be used differently throughout the year with the easy replacement working parts. For deep loosening, Bednar recommends fitting the Active-Mix tines that have a special shape for mixing crop residue with soil, disrupting hardened layers and deep cultivation. In summer or after cultivating headlands, the Zero-Mix tines can be attached. These tines aerate and disrupt the hardened soil layer but do not mix the soil to prevent evaporation of soil moisture.

The Active-Mix tines can also be fitted with chisels with widths of 70 or 40 mm in the standard version, or the Long-Life chisels fitted with carbide tips. The 40mm chisels are recommend for intense loosening, demanding conditions or when working at the maximum depth. When using the Zero-Mix tines, the machine is equipped with 60mm chisels.

The Terraland TN 4000 HD9 chisel plough can be equipped with rear packers, such as the hydraulically adjustable spiked double-roller, the Cutpack (a suitable combination with Zero-Mix tines) or the V-Ring packer with a diameter of 630mm.
