Building on the success of its BR6090, New Holland has announced the Roll-Bar 125 fixed chamber round baler. It is available in two versions, the Rotor Feeder and Rotor Cutter, and introduces a new styling with a large side shield for easy access for maintenance operations.

It also features a large floor roll, starter roll and high tensile steel bale rotation bars for the proven Roll-Bar bale chamber to ensure early core formation and a positive rotation action in a wide range of crops, according to the company.

Felix Ramuenke, global product manager, said: “The best-selling fixed chamber baler on the market has a worthy successor in the Roll-Bar 125, which remains true to its strong heritage DNA. With new additional features and options, it is the right choice for farmers who are looking for a robust, simple and diverse baler, which feels home in all major crops and conditions – from dry straw up to wet silage.”

The new side shield is said to have a robust weld structure for greater durability, with top door hinges, wide opening and gas strut supports for easy maintenance access. It’s also a protected space for storing spare net rolls. New decals have also been added and the mainframe of the baler has been modified with a shock absorber added on both sides between the frame and the tailgate for smooth opening and closing.

High-grade drive chains with chromized pins and hardened plates are said to offer a longer life cycle, alongside new sealed type bearings. The proven Hydraulic Rotor Reverser with a free-run clutch is now also available on Rotor Feeder models for easy clearance of blockages.
