The latest X7 machine is fitted with an FPT engine for 230hp, boosting to 240hp, put to the ground through a ZF continuously variable, four-stage transmission that provides a top speed of 50kph.
It comes with a new Clever Cab, that integrates a lot of the features introduced in recent years by the company. The multifunction armrest is completed with a new 12in DSM monitor; the dashboard has been replaced with a 12in digital cluster; the EasyPilot controller has been fitted as standard; and an aluminium bar has been mounted on the right-hand window to enable additional terminals to be fitted.
Other new features include the Smart Power Zero, which is integrated into the transmission and holds the tractor at a standstill until the operator pulls away. The option of central tyre inflation has also been made available, as has automatic greasing to limit maintenance time.
At the rear, the hitch can handle up to 9,300kg, with the closed-centre, load-sensing hydraulic system running at 160 litres/min, feeding four electrohydraulic spools.
A front hitch, lifting 3,500kg, and two additional spools are available on the options list.
For greater comfort, the front axle can be independently hydraulically suspended, with electronic control from the cabin. This works with the mechanical cab suspension, which is semi-active and can be adjusted through the DSM terminal.
