Olofsfors, Clarks and Pewag, leading manufacturers of track systems, have given their approval to the Alliance 643 Forestar III and 644 Forestar III tyres.

“Tracks further add to the already highly impressive grip and flotation characteristics of our Forestar III tire portfolio, thus combining positive effects of tires and tracks to an almost unbeatable performance. Be it steep terrain or wet and soft ground – this combination offers massive grip, low ground disturbance and low soil compaction”, explained Angelo Noronha, president Europe at ‎Yokohama Off-Highway Tires.

Both the 643 and 644 feature a nylon-steel-belted construction and reinforced hexagonal bead technology, ensuring puncture resistance, a high load capacity and preventing rim slippage.

The tread pattern of the 643 offers wider shoulder lugs and horizontal grooves to ensure compatibility with track systems and lateral stability. The 644 offers a specially designed dual lug angle to improve grip and traction, as well as increased tread width for a wider footprint and reduced ground pressure.

The low pressure Forestar 344 ELIT from Alliance features flexible sidewalls, enabling the tyre to carry the same load at reduced pressure. The subsequent larger footprint minimises soil compaction and improves ride comfort.

Its tread pattern is said to offer excellent grip in all terrains and the construction includes a steel reinforcement belt for high puncture resistance, while a special tread compound enables a long tyre life. The lug angle also ensures top self-cleaning, while the close spacing of the lugs at the centre reduces rolling resistance.

Alliance tyres are available in the UK through Kirkby Tyres. For more information go to www.kirkbytyres.co.uk
