CFO marking provides enhanced performance for BKT tyres

Agricultural tyre manufacturer, BKT, has enhanced its range with the introduction of Cyclic Field Operations (CFO) – a marking which gives a 55% increase in the load that a tyre can withstand without increasing inflation pressure.

As the best response to soil compaction issues, Very-high Flexion (VF) and Increased Flexion (IF) tyres have a larger footprint area and require lower inflation pressure, which allows them to cope with heavier loads, but the introduction of the CFO marking indicates that the tyre can go above the set limits.

Tyres carrying the marking will be able to support up to 55% additional weight, or the tractor’s maximum weight at a pressure reduction of up to 55%. BKT reports that CFO tyres lead to increased efficiency and productivity in farming operations as well as enhanced tyre performance and durability.

BKT is applying the CFO marking to several of its products, including one of its most successful products, Agrimax Force. This tyre has been developed, specifically, for combine harvesters or high-power tractors for harvesting, transport and tillage operations. Two other models benefitting from the CFO marking are the Agrimax Teris and Agrimax RT 600 which are also suitable options for harvesting operations. Agrimax V-Flecto is the other product benefiting from CFO marking. This tyre is designed to optimise the performance of high-power, next-generation tractors.
