Tallis Amos Group (TAG) has announced that it will now offer CultiWise advanced drone and satellite mapping technology to growers across the UK.
The partnership enables the company to provide AI-generated prescription maps for variable rate applications of fertiliser, fungicides, growth regulators and seed.
Using drone imagery, the system provides reliable field data when satellite imagery is obscured by cloud cover, with high-resolution multispectral images uploaded to the CultiWise platform, which uses AI to monitor plant health, growth variation and weeds.
“CultiWise uses artificial intelligence to make efficient decision-making,” said Edward Wardroper, CultiWise specialist at TAG. “The AI technology transforms raw drone data into actionable insights, helping farmers to cut costs, improve crop performance and reduced the environmental impact.”
In addition, the system can support plant counting to aid yield forecasts. It can be used on a wide range of crops, including winter wheat, maize, oilseed rape, potatoes and onions.
TAG will provide full setup, training and ongoing technical support, with packages or pay-as-you-go options available.
