    Forest Market Report 2022

Tilhill, a leading woodland creation, forest management, and timber harvesting company is delighted to announce Goldcrest Land and Forestry Group as their partner of choice for this year’s publication and launch of The UK Forest Market Report.

The UK Forest Market Report is considered to be the leading authority on forestry investment activity and the most comprehensive publicly available record of forestry transactions in the UK.

The 2022 Report will launch in November during what will be its twenty-fourth year of publication.

Goldcrest Land & Forestry Group is a chartered surveying & forestry business based in Edinburgh and Cheshire. The team enjoy a combined experience of over 100 years in selling and acquiring forestry and land throughout the UK for clients.

Of the decision to partner with Tilhill for The UK Forest Market Report, Fenning Welstead, a founding partner of Goldcrest said: “We have been greatly encouraged by the market’s response to Goldcrest and delighted to be joining Tilhill in producing what we regard to be a most important market document. The land, forestry and carbon markets continue to move at pace and careful market analysis and a strong understanding of the market dynamic is more important than ever.”

Peter Chappell, Tilhill’s head of forestry Investment said: “I am extremely excited at the prospect of jointly working with Goldcrest on what we view as our most prestigious publication. We have chosen Goldcrest as our partner given their standing and experience in the forestry agency market. In combination, our joint knowledge brings added gravitas to the report.”

The partnership is considered by both parties to be a win-win relationship and Tilhill and Goldcrest look forward to announcing the launch dates of The UK Forest Market Report for 2022 in the next few weeks.
