Autonomous machinery specialists, AgXeed, will highlight two new products at this year’s Agritechnica.
The first is the T2 7 range of machines, delivering 230hp to act as a potential replacement for operator-controlled tractors on arable and vegetable farms.
It can be combined with common implements, limiting capital investment, and has a tracked design to limit soil compaction during operation.
Integrated within the machine is the AgXeed Safety System, which enables the machine to work fully autonomously, and the TraXwise platform, which handles route pre-planning and offers real-time data collection to allow the operator to monitor the machine remotely.
Advanced task planning
Alongside the new range of machines, the company will also launch the VCU system, which can be retrofitted to non-autonomous tractor units to TraXwise.
As long as the machine has Isobus and tractor implement management, the VCU enables operators to plan out tasks from the office and send them remotely to the machine, including waylines and headland turns.
“With the T2 7 series we are taking autonomy to the next level, while the VCU with TraXwise makes the step towards autonomous operations accessible for existing fleets,” says Joris Hiddema, CEO of AgXeed.
“Together, these solutions give farmers real choices in how they move towards greater efficiency, sustainability, and productivity.”
