Continuing to develop its tractor range in line with Stage V emissions regulations, Antonio Carraro has announced that the Yanmar 4TNV86-CT F.5 engine, offering a maximum power of 51hp, will be fitted to its 5800 series tractors.
The new power unit is fitted with an anti-particulate filter and a Common Rail injection system, with an EGR cooling valve for the recirculation of exhaust gas and an electronic running system for regeneration.
According to the company, the engine has a sophisticated electronics system, which matches well with the electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission. As such, it will be fitted to the latest TR 5800 Infinity machine.
The Infinity is an isodiametric tractor, with full use of the two-range hydrostat in both forward and reverse drive. To reduce wear and tear on the brakes, the acceleration pedal can be used to slow the tractor and the direction of the tractor can be changed without the use of the clutch.
