Quicke wins prestigious award at Royal Welsh Show

Quicke’s new Q-Series loader has been recognised for its innovation at this year’s Royal Welsh Show, and was announced as the winner of the Dr Alban Davies Perpetual Trophy for innovation in agriculture.

The prestigious trophy is presented to the machine, implement or device that is likely to be of most benefit to Welsh farming, and it was clear that the innovative loader would be especially useful for the wide range of farmers in Wales.

“The Q-Series is the first new loader to be launched into the market in 11 years, and the interest we’ve had is extraordinary. It’s stronger, smarter and more user friendly than ever. The new technology is revolutionising and digitalising tractor loader handling,” said Edward Grierson, Quicke account manager.

“Since being launched into the market in June 2017, the new loader has already received unprecedented interest. The loader’s popularity has surpassed expectations, and the award win is a great achievement for the company.

“Everything about the Q-Series has been designed with the user in mind, to improve the efficiency of loader operations on the farm. This will, in turn, save our customers a great deal of time and money over the lifetime of the machine,” he said.

“It’s a very proud achievement for the company, especially as 2017 marks 50 years of Quicke serving British farmers, and we hope that the award win will generate even more interest in the product.”
