Kuhn Farm Machinery has extended its range of multipurpose agricultural shredders with the introduction of two new models: the BP 10 and BP 100. Suitable for maintaining pastures, fallow land and for shredding crop residues and undergrowth, both machines are available in a range of working widths and with shredding knives suited to a variety of working purposes.

The BP 10 is available in two working widths: 280cm and 308cm. The BP 100 is available in 240cm, 280cm or 305cm formats.

Both machines are designed to be rear mounted and can also be used with reverse drive tractors. The BP 10 has a minimum/maximum recommended power requirement of 90/150hp, while the BP 100 is compatible with tractors ranging from 75 to 175hp.

The BP 10 and BP 100 are fitted as standard with hammer knives suitable for clearing grass. The BP 100 can be fitted with heavy-duty hammers for clearing heavier residues such as vine shoots and woodier material and is also available with Y-knives or Y-and straight knives for clearing undergrowth and crop residues. The BP 100 can also be specified with articulated scoop flails for clearing fine grass materials.

Optional equipment on the two machines includes side stabilising skids for the BP 10, and hydraulically controlled offset, lateral support wheels and roller with removable ends on the BP 100. Both machines can be fitted with running lights and turn signals.

The BP 10 range starts from £6235 for the standard version fitted with hammer knives.
