According to Danish trade outlet, LandbrugsAvisen, Agrointelli, which developed the Robotti agricultural robot, will not be sold as a single entity, effectively removing the product from the market and causing the loss of 20 jobs.
It was hoped that AgroIntelli would be sold in its entirety to a single buyer, however reports now confirm that patents and software have been sold off individually, accounting for a greater financial result than a single sale.
The buyers are reportedly industry players.
Trustees are now hoping to sell the remaining assets, including fully built robots.
