EBLEX has launched a new ‘Winter’ promotional kit for farm shops and independent butchers to highlight the best ways of cooking with beef and lamb.

The latest point of sale (POS) kit is designed to showcase a range of value added beef and lamb cuts to customers throughout the winter season. The aim is to optimise carcase value and help customers find consistently high quality beef and lamb.

EBLEX will be releasing several versions of the POS kit to those who have registered to receive one. There will be a Quality Standard Mark (QSM) pack for those that are part of the scheme and specific kits for high street butchers and farm shops focused on the rural farm shop market.

The packs also include posters, recipes and in-store cabinet branding, covering a range of information from cutting specifications to Christmas opening times to ensure customers get the most of out their Christmas meat shopping.

Mike Richardson, EBLEX’s independent retailer sector manager, said: “The Winter POS kit has been created to help independent butchers and farm shops maintain profitability throughout the colder months, highlighting the versatility of value added beef and lamb cuts for consumers.”

For further information about the Quality Standard Mark or to enquire about joining the Scheme, visit www.eblextrade.co.uk or call the Scheme Hotline on 0845 491 8787.
