According to distributor Reesink Agriculture, the Farmtrac FT26 and FT26H models have proven to be popular amongst smallholding owners.

The difference between the FT26 and the FT26H is the inclusion of the HST three-range hydrostatic transmission, instead of the standard mechanical gearbox.

Steven Haynes, tractor sales manager for Reesink Turfcare, explained: “The popularity of these models stems from their light and narrow body that effortlessly fits in tighter indoor spaces, as well as their short turning radius which makes them highly manoeuvrable and opens them up to multiple audiences – such as smallholdings, equestrian centres and growers.

“And they’re powerful enough to handle fieldwork, boasting an impressive 750kg lift capacity at the hitch point. Both the FT26 and FT26H deliver class-leading performance while offering serious value for money.”

Both models feature a wide platform with side-mounted shift gear levers, an easy-to-view dash panel, power steering and four-wheel drive. High-intensity work lamps, side-mounted LED lights, a top-mounted beacon lamp and rear work lights enable work to continue in poor conditions and into the night.

HST models feature two directional pedals and come equipped with cruise control as standard, making it possible to set the forward speed at the push of a button.

Both tractors feature a heavy-duty Category 1 three-point linkage. For peace of mind, they also include a five-year warranty supported by Reesink Agriculture.
