Müthing’s innovative Coverseeder sowing system has been awarded a silver medal as part of Agritechnica’s 2022 Innovation Awards.
The machine enables the processing of crop residues and the application and covering of seeds in one operation, without having to carry out prior soil preparation.
Simon Richard, the Uk agent for Müthing, said: “This offers early establishment, maximum use of catch crops and the potential for improving profitability, because Coverseeder can also be used all year round for mulching and maintenance work in arable farming and grassland operations, in addition to very cost-efficient sowing.”
The Coverseeder will initially be available in a working width of 2.8m for tractors from 130hp up to 250hp.
