    New Unimog aftersales partner appointed

Multevo has been appointed as a Unimog authorised aftersales partner. The company, which is based in Lancashire and has depots in Shropshire and Staffordshire, has provided plant, vehicles and equipment nationwide for the last 14 years.

With a team of experienced Mercedes-Benz technicians on staff, Multevo states that it is well equipped to keep Unimog operators on the road, providing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, as well as having a supply of genuine parts. It will also be able to offer manufacturer-backed service packages and warranty cover.

Leonhard Niemann, Mercedes-Benz Trucks UK’s head of network development, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Multevo to bring even better service coverage to Unimog customers in Lancashire and the surrounding area.”

The move is said to support Multevo’s plant and fleet solutions department and the business has a contracting decision, including a portfolio of services for highways, civils, vegetation management and arboriculture.

Nick Leadley, director at Multevo, said: “As a business, we’re always looking at how we can expand and support market growth through new and exciting service offerings. We feel being aligned to the Unimog brand supplements our existing provisions and ethos around delivering customer driven innovations.

“In addition, we have nearly a decade of experience in operating multi-purpose equipment to self-deliver maintenance tasks in various terrains and environments and can empathise with operators when equipment is off road.

“Due to our experience in multi-purpose equipment we’re able to service and repair both the Unimog implement carriers and associated attachments simultaneously to reduce vehicle downtime.”
