Rising demand leads to call for more Tuchel dealers

    New dealers wanted

Sweepers and Machinery Ltd, the sole importer of Tuchel Maschinenbau products, is looking for more independent UK dealerships. The firm was established in the summer of 2020 and has since taken on ten dealers across the country.

Stephen Melbourne, director of Sweepers and Machinery, said he was enthusiastic about the popularity of the machines. “Sweepers and Machinery Ltd was founded in May 2020, to meet the growing requirement for innovative, cost-effective road sweeper solutions, and with the many pressures on farmers at the moment, sweeper attachments especially, are proving popular where farmers want to clean up operations with kit that’s cost-effective and good quality.”

Farmstar, based in Doncaster and servicing Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, has taken on the franchise and is pleased with the products.

“Tuchel has a strong brand image in its key markets for quality and product range. There seems to be a model to cover every need,” said Dan Hutchison, Kubota & Groundcare Sales. “As for Steve Melbourne, he is always very helpful and quick to respond whenever you contact him. He is willing to speak to end-users to discuss the specific needs, to ensure they get the correct information to select the correct model.”

Mr Melbourne has a background in commercial and agricultural industries and has worked in sales and management for over 21 years. He launched Sweepers and Machinery Ltd alongside his finance solutions business S.A.M Asset Finance, with the aim of offering an all-around service to meet the growing demand for sweepers and small-trac machines.

“The sweepers and snow ploughs range from 1.2 metres up to 5.2 metres, with the option of multiple attachments to most wheeled machines, from compact tractors to the largest loading shovels. The Trac is a self-contained compact vehicle, which has been designed to be used in such applications as cleaning dairy parlours,” he explained.
