New Kongskilde distributor in the UK

Following the decision by CNH to sell the Kongskilde brand to Seko Industries, ASC Communications has now been appointed the distributor of Kongskilde arable, grassland and livestock machinery for England, Scotland and Wales.

Will Mumford, founder of ASC, stated that expanding the company’s interests into implements, alongside its precision farming equipment, was a logical move, especially as the Kongskilde brand is well-known and proven in the field.

“We are set up to sell direct, but are looking to recruit dealers. The product line includes new 5.4-7.9m Germinator Pro versions of the established Germinator seedbed cultivator, designed to create a seedbed in a single pass for crops such as sugar beet, maize and onions,” he adds.

“Then there are the Vibro Master 3000 5.5-8.3m and SGC/SQ 2.5-6.7m S-tine cultivators, with vibrating tines to ensure thorough soil movement for final seedbed preparation. We are also offering the 3.0-4.3m Vibro Flex heavy-duty stubble cultivators, suited to both primary and secondary tillage.”

The product range will also include the Vibro-Crop inter-row cultivators, with up to 18 rows and working widths up to 9.9m, as well as the Vibro-Crop Intelli series with 12 or 18-row models, working at 45 or 50cm spacings, or an eight or 12-row machine at 75cm spacings.

Delta Flex shallow cultivators are available in mounted or trailed specifications, working down to 25cm with a curved arm design to mix soil and residues. A series of front hoppers, pneumatic seeders, mounted box drills and stone collectors will also be offered.

“Kongskilde livestock equipment is a further part of the business,” Will says. “This includes three FCT standard trailed forage harvester models, plus four FCT King Size versions. Also in the range are diet feeders with one, two or three augers and capacities of 10-28 cu m.

“The business will retail through a full UK dealer network, with many of those who were previously Kongskilde dealers continuing with the franchise. They are supported by a full team at our Cambridgeshire headquarters, where our office support staff include Ben Jeffs, Clara Rooney and Tracy Baxter. Retail finance to support purchases of Kongskilde products is available through an agreement with Rural Asset Finance”
