A novel cultivation solution was highlighted on the Evers stand. Its 3m subsoiler is split across two bars, with a total of nine legs. The second bar is independently, hydraulically controlled from the first, enabling the depth of the final four tines to be adjusted separately from the front.
According to the company, the front row can be fitted with narrow subsoiler shares to break up compaction, while the second row can be fitted with mixing shares to churn the topsoil, enabling multiple operations to be done in one pass.
The second bar can also be completely lifted out of work, enabling a lower horsepower machine to tackle subsoiling if required, or both can be run at the same depth for more intensive remedial or cultivation work.
