During celebrations for the one millionth Agri Star II tyre sold, Alliance introduced the Agri Star II Row Crop range. It features the company’s Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), giving the lugs two distinct layers which are said to provide the same traction and performance, even as the tread wears down.
This is because the second layer has a different angle of aggressiveness compared to the top layer and widens during wear. There are also more lugs around the diameter of the tyre, providing greater traction as well as improved comfort on the road.
The construction of the tyre includes stubble guard, and a wear-resistant compound, minimising the risk of damage when travelling over stubble or on stony ground. For transport, it also benefits from an increased speed rating over the previous generation, capable of travelling at speeds up to 70kph.
