Kverneland’s new generation of mounted reversible ploughs

Kverneland is introducing its stepwise versions of its New Generation Variomat ploughs: the Kverneland 2300 S (stepwise) and 3300 S (stepwise).

The Kverneland 2300 S (stepwise) is available in three versions and is recommended for tractors up to 225hp:

    Inter-body clearance (cm)Working width (cm)Number of furrowsHP/furrow recommendation
    8530-35-40-453-525-45
    10030-35-40-45-503-525-45
    11535-40-45-50-553-425-45

The Kverneland 3300 S (stepwise) has two version options, and is recommended for tractors up to 330hp:

    Inter-body clearance (cm)Working Width (cm)Number of furrowsHP/furrow recommendations
    8530-35-40-454-630-55
    10030-35-40-45-504-630-55

Both models can also be equipped with the Packomat, packer arm or Kverneland packers for more economical and efficient soil reconsolidating.

Further additions to the stepwise plough series models include:

    Aero-profile legs

Aero-profile leg designs, plus the 80cm under beam clearance, improve soil flow in high residue conditions. The legs are pre-shaped, to limit welding, and are hollow to optimise plough weight, lift requirements, and pulling forces to reduce vehicle fuel consumption.

    Smart leaf spring system

The Auto-reset system uses leaf springs, which can be pressure-adapted to suit various soil conditions. A leaf spring can be added or removed by hand, as it requires only two bolts to attach.

    Unique skimmer adjustments

The angle of the skimmer can be adjust by the adjustment of a single bolt; the right and left skimmer working depths are adjusted simultaneously via a central adjustment. Manure skimmers, maize skimmers and trash boards are available as additions, while disc coulters, plain and notched in 45 and 50cm sizings, can be added to any Kverneland plough also.

    Unique memory cylinder

Weeds are better controlled, headlands are flatter, and seedbeds are a higher quality now, thanks to the unique Kverneland memory cylinder which will limit triangles at headlands.

    Rear mounted wheels

The rear-positioned wheels ensure plough stability, with the wheel’s ‘swivel’ movement offering smooth reversal manoeuvres for the driver. The wheels are adjustable either mechanically or hydraulically.

    Working width changes

The plough’s working widths can be adjusted by moving a single bolt on each leg.

    Safer transport (TTS option)

The Trailer Transport Solution (TTS) places the pivot point of the tractor and plough combination in the middle, so the plough behaves as a trailer would when being towed. According to Kverneland, it only takes one minute to transfer the plough from transport to plough mode too.
