Kubota (UK) Ltd has introduced the EK1 series compact tractor to its portfolio. Offering 24hp, the four-wheel drive EK1-261 will represent a cost-effective choice for smallholders and homeowners.
Manufactured by Escorts-Kubota, it features a three-cylinder diesel engine that meets Stage V without a diesel particulate filter. Power is put to the ground via a dry plate clutch, constant mesh transmission with nine forward and three reverse gears.
The rear linkage has a 750kg capacity, with a 540/540E PTO and one double-acting spool operating with an open-centre hydraulic system.
For the operator, there is a charging socket and mobile phone holder, as well as a weight-adjustable, mechanically suspended seat and foldable ROPS frame.
Retailing from £11,036 + VAT, it includes a five-year Kubota Care warranty as standard. There is the option of a front loader, as well as the choice of turf tyres or industrial tyres.
