The latest FS 561 C-EM clearing saw is said to be the most powerful model that Stihl has ever produced, offering landscaping professionals and groundskeepers greater performance and durability, as well as a host of new features.
A best-in-class 560mm cutting diameter is at the heart of the unit, powered by a new gearbox with revised ratios and improved sealing and bearing performance. It also has a reinforced clutch for heavy use over long periods, as well as a new anti-vibration system, the ErgoStart technology and an ergonomic bike handlebar. Power is 2.8kW and the unit features a 38mm reinforced shaft.
The FS 561 can be combined with a wide range of cutting attachments, with an easy starting process and a stop button. It’s fitted with a WoodCut 225-24 circular saw blade and an Advance Plus forestry harness for increased comfort. Ignition timing and fuel metering are optimised with the M-Tronic 3.0 engine management system, which also takes into account temperature, altitude and fuel quality to offer consistent engine performance.
